Technologies for Adaptation to Climate Change

The UNFCCC secretariat and the expert group on Technology Transfer carried out an extensive review of adaptation technologies and assessed their possibilities in five sectors: coastal zones, water resources, agriculture, public health and infrastructure. This analytical report summarizes and illustrates conclusions of the review and serves as a brief introduction to the principles and methods of adaptation and the practical steps that can be taken to put them into practice.
