This fact sheet briefly introduces the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF). The Fund, which is managed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), addresses the special needs of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs), which are particularly vulnerable to the adverse impacts of climate change. The GEF has, as of August 2009, mobilized voluntary contributions of $180 million for the LDCF. Also available in Japanese (v. 2007).
