Born in 2014, the UN CC:learn e-learning platform has been offering online courses to more than 900’000 learners around the world. While the platform was launched with 600 learners, it has been growing exponentially over the years and has become a reference for e-learning on climate change and green economy within the United Nations system and beyond. Overall, we have partnered with more than 50 UN agencies from global to local headquarters, learning institutions, and development cooperation agencies to provide high-quality and reliable information in an engaging and interactive format. With an average of 100’000 certificates issued per year, the platform has significantly expanded its global network of informed individuals dedicated to tackling climate change.
