This rechnical document is a compilation of original graphs and charts covering the energy context and 7 areas of focus for realizing enhanced energy security as envisaged in the Asian and Pacific Energy Forum (APEF): energy access, energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy and environment, energy economics, energy trade and investment, and energy connectivity. Various methods of data visualization are used to present statistics in a dynamic way, with no text, only the graphs and charts.

This analytical report, published by UNESCAP on behalf of the five UN Regional Commissions, explores public-private partnerships (PPPs) as investment catalysts for achieving the goals of the UN Secretary-General’s Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) initiative. This analytical report aims to examine the importance of the Blue Economy for African Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and the future challenges and opportunities this sector entails for African SIDS.
