Climate Change and Economic Growth
This analytical document describes the potential effects of climate change on economic growth over the next fifty years. Although the impact of climate change on the global economy is likely to be quite small, the report shows that the greatest threat to long‐term economic growth is from potentially excessive near term mitigation efforts.

The Perception of and Adaptation to Climate Change in Africa
This analytical document aims to determine the ability of farmers in Africa to detect climate change. A large-scale survey conducted in 11 counntries in Africa shows that significant numbers of farmers believe that temperatures have already increased and that precipitation has declined. The report comes to the conclusion that educated farmers are more likely to adapt to climate change.

Climate Change and Water Variability: Do Water Treaties Contribute to River Basin Resilience?
This analytical document shows that climate-driven water variability is a natural phenomenon observed across river basins, but predicted to increase due to climate change. Environmental change of this kind may aggravate political tensions. The study investigates whether basins governed by treaties witness less tension over shared water in comparison with those basins not governed by treaties, over the last sixty years. The results suggest that the presence of a treaty promotes cooperation.
