This brief provides a synthesis of the report by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) entitled “Inclusive green economy and structural transformation in Africa” and highlights its key messages. The ECA report explores the linkages and contributions of inclusive green economy policies and strategies to the structural transformation of African countries, as well as the transmission mechanisms that could ensure the sustainability of the transformation.
