This technical document investigates the capacity of the national hydrological and meteorological services (NHMSs) in Cambodia and recommends improvements through a regional approach. Initial assessments in the report show the cost-effectiveness of strengthening national hydro-meteorological services through regional cooperation for reducing adverse impacts of natural hazard-induced disasters and climate change which know no national boundaries.

This publication is a collaborative effort of the United Nations Joint Framework Initiative on Children, Youth and Climate Change aiming at highlighting concrete activities young people are leading around the world. This activity report summarizes the key outcomes of a meeting of around one hundred climate change education (CCE) experts, primarily from Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in the Caribbean, the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean.
