This National Workshop is held within the framework of the UN CC:Learn pilot project in the Dominican Republic. It provides an opportunity to discuss and define the priority actions with concerned government sectors and other interested organizations. Specific workshop objectives include to: 1) enhance skills of participants to design results-based action to enhance climate-change related learning; 2) identify learning needs and sustainable learning approaches in selected priority sectors; 3) develop specific learning interventions/workshops responding to professional priority needs; 4) develop action to strengthen institutional capacities to delivery climate change learning through general education, TVET, and public education; and 5) explore modalities and partnerships for implementing the proposed action. The Workshop brings together key actors from government and organizations outside of government.
