Third Workshop on Water and Climate Change Adaptation in Transboundary Basins

This workshop brings together persons from all over the world, engaged in activities on water and adaptation to climate change and variability, in particular in transboundary basins. It offers a platform for exchanging experience on climate change adaptation strategies, best practices, success factors and lessons learned. The workshop focuses on the following issues: 1) economic aspects of adaptation to climate change, 2) selecting and implementing adaptation measures, 3) integrating the different spatial and governance levels, 4) vulnerability assessment in transboundary basins, 5) the ecosystem approach, 6) integrating sectoral interests into adaptation strategy.
