This two-day seminar exposes participants to key issues related to climate finance. In particular, it covers the following topics: financing climate change mitigation and adaptation; international climate change finance instruments; UNFCCC convention framework financial mechanisms; international climate finance in practice; and moving forward from Durban (COP 17): key multilateral negotiation issues. Each session involves a detailed exposé of the subject matter as well as a round table discussion. Certain sessions may include group work. The seminar targets senior and middle level officials and executives from the public and private sector, entrepreneurs, media executives, and non-profit organization leaders.
